About Ruby Red
We're so glad you are here! Ruby Red is a competitive cheer team based in Franklin NC! We take athletes 4-18 years old. No experience is required and you do not have to be from Franklin to join Ruby Red! We push for dual athletes- meaning we want your athlete to be involved in school cheer or extracurricular activities! Our goal is to get as many athletes involved and help our community grow with spirit! Our senior rubies are athletes ages 8-18! Our junior reds are athletes 14-under! We provide a safe and positive environment for your athlete, we want to teach them about cheer but also about life. We have created a safe outreach for athletes and we are proud to help athletes in times of need. Cheerleading isn't just about the sport it's about community, love, and support. If you are interested in joining please reach out, we would love to have you!
Tryouts & Training
We do offer pre tryout workouts and summer workouts. We offer tumbling workouts along with stunt workouts. Tryouts are normally held in May and this year we are offering a second tryout in August. There is no experience required to tryout for Ruby Red, we welcome any athlete who is willing to committed and work hard!
Competition & Performance
Competition season starts in November and will run until April.
We expect each athlete to work hard and earn their spot every day. We push our athletes to be the best they can be on and off the mat.
